ÂPeepli Live gets applause from PM

On Sunday evening, our Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and wife Gursharan Kaur, had witnessed a special screening of ÂPeepli Live at his residence. And he had high praise for this Aamir Khan Production and said that the film is not only impressive but it also imparts a lesson. According to official statement from PMÂs office, Dr Singh had watched the film with interest
Thrilled about the special honour, director Anusha Rizvi quipped to sources, ÂIt was very satisfying to hear the PM say that he liked the film and that it had a message which we must act on. He said itÂs evident that there are two Indias in our country, and we must have a more inclusive approach. We felt very vindicated and humbled at his words.Â
Besides Aamir and Anusha, present for the screening were the filmÂs main cast Raghuvir Yadav and Omkar Das Manikpuri.
